It has a planned investment of € 78 million to build 53,000 m² in a period of 32 months. It is governed by the guidelines of the new Law on Public Sector Contracts (March 2018), which obliges Administrations to divide the project into different contracting lots.
It is the second national experience of a public sector project executed without a general contractor. The first is the New Hospital of Teruel, in which we also collaborate.
This project has been divided into 4 lots for building, 1 lot for quality control and the figure of the Lot Planning Coordinator, attached to the build direction, has been included to integrate planning and to monitored the production.
We assist to SALUD as a Lots Coordinator and for this we are applying collaborative planning techniques Lean Construction: Takt Planning to compress the production sequence and perform time-location management, which supported by Last Planner System, ensures fluid production and get better synergy between the different teams.
In addition, we have put a centralized communication platform at the service of all stakeholders, in which all information exchanges are carried out in agile, secure and documented way.
The BIM model, in whose development we also collaborate, is an element in constant update that is hosted on the platform, so that all users of it, can have the latest updated version and the traceability of previous versions.
With all this, we increase the chances of finishing on time and of getting an As Built documentation adjusted to reality and with the entire process perfectly mapped out.
