IFEVI (Vigo Trade Fair Institute) is developing a project to expand the facilities of the Vigo Trade Fair Institute Foundation. The project, designed by the team led by Fraga, G.Quijada, Portolés y Asociados SLP, has a built area of nearly of 5000 sqm and consists of an expansion of the current IFEVI Pavilion 3. The works are carried out in one phase with the general contractor UTE Constructora Taboada y Ramos and OHL.
For this purpose, CONSMAGA, a joint venture service provider, has decided to incorporate CORE, developing the tasks of generating the As-Built models in the final phase of the work.
CORE has incorporated some of the aspects of its C2R Construction Project Management System allowing for the Project:
i. Prepare BEP according to the client’s EIR
ii. Develop base models according to customer requirements and BEP
iii. Develop end-of-work As-Built models
IV. Parameterization of the models for the maintenance phase according to the COBIE standard.
These improvements over the usual project management systems have contributed to having the modeling strategy defined, a digital twin of the executed work, as well as models prepared for the maintenance phase.
